There are few remains of the windmill standing today. Ballina's windmill was
last in use in the early 1900's.

Time stops here, but not the pleasant sensations. The smell of the oak trees,
the smell of wet land, the flight of the birds that go up over the side of the
river, the hospitality of our people, our garden, our apples, the cider.

Our visitors enjoy a peaceful quiet barely interrupted by the burbling brook.
